    Description

    The Municipal Drug Strategy of the Town of Gananoque, The Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands, and the Township of Rideau Lakes will be hosting an educational event on non-medical cannabis. Speakers will share strategies for youth prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and enforcement.

    Dr. Paula Stewart, Medical Officer of Health, The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit
    Michael DeVillaer, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry & Behavioural Neurosciences, McMaster University
    Malcolm Morris, Chief Administrative Officer, Smiths Falls
    Heather D'Alessio, Canadian Students for Sensible Drug Policy (CSSDP)

    This event may be of interest to Youth, Parents and Caregivers, Families, Educators and School Administrators, Influencers of Youth or Adult Allies, Municipal Decision Makers, Enforcement Services and Health Professionals.

    Light snacks and refreshments will be provided by Chef Hill and the GISS Hospitality program.
